Ives Mathew Rementina [One Piece Flagship March 2024]

How did you choose which deck to play?

I was considering to play Enel, Sakazuki, Moria or Lucci. I was supposed to play Sakazuki because it is really a strong deck but I chose Lucci instead because it's telling my heart to use it on Flagship.

What preparations did you do beforehand?

I practiced with my girlfriend a lot and join many standard and meetup events and I win streak it all in a month by playing different decks.

Share your experience during the Flagship Event

Round 1 vs Blue Doffy (win). I have always removal in his 4 cost bodies in every turns.

Round 2 vs Vivi (win). I got to only play 1 Moria 8 and 1 Stussy because I milled my all Moria 8 and Stussy which makes my matchup hard instead of being advantage on him.

Round 3 vs Enel (win).  His first 3 life was Shirahoshi, but gladly I have answer in his big bodies via Moria 8 and Stussy.

Round 4 vs Enel ((win). Kaku 5 was the mvp on this matchup because I got to removed his Kikunojo twice via Kaku without healing his life because I have still 4 life and sweep the game.

Round 5 vs Moria (win).  Spandine carried me in this final match because I won the Moria 8 war. I played the Moria 8 Spandine combo twice.

What can you say to those that did not make it to the top 8 cut?

Just keep practicing and use your comfort deck.

Any advice for players that want to start playing OPTCG?
