In the recent Davao tournament, I piloted the Green/Purple Luffy deck, a deck currently dominating the meta.
Key cards include Sanji & Pudding, which replenish DON!! cards when certain conditions are met, and the 6-cost Luffy, is a potent finisher with its ability to attack twice. This combination of strategic de-ramping, efficient resource management, and powerful attacks makes the Green/Purple Luffy deck a formidable choice in the current competitive landscape.

My 5-0 Championship Run in One Piece Card Game Flagship Championship
This past weekend, I had the honor of competing in a highly competitive One Piece Card Game tournament in Davao—and I emerged as the champion with a flawless 5-0 record. It was an intense journey filled with strategic plays, lucky top decks, and well-timed counters. Here’s how my matches went down:
Game 1 – VS Shanks
I kicked off the tournament facing a Shanks player. Fortunately for me, he wasn’t able to play Shanks 10, which gave me a huge advantage. I controlled the game by dropping two Sanji Puddings, which put relentless pressure on my opponent. Without his big finisher, I secured my first win.
Game 2 – VS Shanks (Again!)
Another Shanks matchup, and the same story unfolded. I missed playing Sanji Pudding on Don 5, which could have been a setback, but I still managed to outmaneuver my opponent and take the game. This win gave me even more confidence moving forward.
Game 3 – VS Kalgara
This was a high-stakes match where I got really lucky—my opponent wasn’t able to play Enel 10, which would have been a major problem for me. Sensing an opportunity, I went for an all-out rush strategy and managed to take him down before he could stabilize.
Game 4 – VS Rosinante
My opponent struggled to get his big characters onto the board—no Kidd, no Hody—giving me an early tempo lead. I capitalized by playing Luna first, which gave me control of the match. Things got tricky when he responded with his own Luna, freezing four of my characters. But I had 10 dons available and two Sanji Puddings on the field. I dropped Luffy SEC, which sealed the game in my favor.
Game 5 – VS RG Law
This was, by far, my most challenging match of the tournament. My opponent’s Animal Build RG Law was incredibly well-constructed, and I was actually on the brink of defeat. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, I top-decked Luna, freezing all of his characters and completely shifting the tempo in my favor. With my board set up, I played two Usopps to rest two of his blockers, and finally, I closed the game with Luffy SEC.
